Klacht Body & Fit: Product wrongly advertised and sold as such
De klachtI bought Nitrotech protein shake (for the second time) from Body&Fit recently that was advertised as containing 86g of protein. Unfortunately, after the product arrived and I had already opened and been using it, I realised that the nutritional values were not correct. The website, the nutritional values on the website and the label that was printed (and replaced the original nutritional values on the container) gave the wrong protein content. The product contained 69g of protein, instead of the advertised 86g.
The protein itself was still of excellent content, but considering the enormous difference in per 100g protein content, I would have preferred to buy another product. After extensive pleading with Body&Fit directly via email correspondence and sending photos, I finally received a positive reply from Bart from Body & Fit to return the product. During our correspondence, I mentioned that the product had already been opened, and it was agreed upon that I could return the product for a full refund.
After returning the product, I was disappointed yet again to receive an email from Body&Fit stating that since the product had been used, they will only refund me with 5 euro's. As far as I am concerned, Body & Fit has consistently failed to rectify the situation adequately, even though they have falsely advertise and admitted that the product has been sold with the wrong nutritional information. Then after finally agreeing, have gone back on their word. They have left very little room for trust and I would caution any potential buyers to double check all product against the original nutritional values before buying.
