De klacht

I was home all day waiting for a delivery by DHL Parcel but it never came. At around 13:00 the Track and Trace weblink updated to "Recipient moved or unknown, please contact the sender". When I contacted the Customer Care Department they've told me that the driver could find the address but that my name was not known at that address which is weird considering the fact that the courier hasn't even rang the bell or knocked on the door. They've also mentioned that they cannot deliver that package again. They have to send it back to the sender.

De oplossing

I would like that the company to actually deliver the package to the address mentioned on the delivery details.

    Thank you for your message. According to my information the shipment is indeed returned to the shipper due to a probleem with the address or addressee. The return process has already been initiated so the shipment can not be delivered. My apologies for the inconvenience. Please contact the shipper of the parcel, they can send it again.

    Since it's obviously DHL company's fault ( the address is perfectly valid, copy paste the address from the delivery details to google maps and it indicates the exact location and I was home all day and no one has reached to the door ), I'm expecting Next Day Delivery free of charge when the sender will forward the package again.

    Good day,

    If that is a possibility, then the sender will have to arrange that themselves, perhaps with DHL Express. I'm afraid that DHL Parcel doesn't have the option of sending international shipments within a day.

    Of course if a mistake was made by DHL Parcel that needs to be handled as well.To do so, the sender should contact the shipping company they handed the parcel off to. They can then help clear this up.
