Klacht Garmin Nederland: merde
Great, I live in the Netherlands, I get a south european card with my device bought in the Netherlands that doesnt function properly.
I get a few Belgium ladies when i finally reach the very hard to find helpdesk (had to go thru the states, who wanted me to call the UK first) who are utterly clueless when they finally answer my call after 45 minutes waiting.
I ask for the Benelux map that i should have had in the first place and that will cost me an additional 35 euros if i have to buy it.
I complain at a consumer site and yes, after a week i get an answer from Garmin. The south european map should do nicely so whats my problem? My problem is that the thing sends me one way streets, makes me drive circles, misses even the city and sent me circling villages before putting me back on the same road. Every time. Makes me miss appointments and generally fuck up my life.
And then 3 weeks later a questionaire in French pops up in my mailbox asking me if i am happy now.
No, I am not.
I live in the Netherlands, we speak Dutch and i drive Dutch roads.
Thats why i bought this thing in a Dutch shop.
So let me say this in Dutch: Plof in elkaar met je service!
Roughly translated that would come down to an advise where you can put your GPS and your service.
Or to say it in my best school french
