Yesterday on Barcelona airport I had a bad experience with the lady at the Goldcar desk. My Visa creditcard did not show my first name in full so the deposit could not be charged to my card. Despite the fact that my drivers licence and my pasport both showed my full first name, this was not acceptable for the lady and I did not receive the car. Only if I paid a Goldcar insurance which could be paid with the same credit card which they did not accept for the deposit!!
I told the lady that I already had a full insurance paid earlier during the booking. After many words I walked away full of frustration. No car and they cashed my reservation 😡.
This company is bad and tries to steal money based on their own stories. Never again will I go to Goldcar. How do I get my money back?

Reviewing the many reviews with similar practices I hope that my money will be refunded.

    Tried to contact Goldcar, but no responses. They collected my pre-paid amount wthout supplying a car. They do not care about customers. I doubt if I still receice a respons from Goldcar 😡

niets gehoord van Goldcar (begrijpelijk want ze zijn gewoon gemeen en crimineel bezig). Oplossing is mijn geld terug, want ze innen wel maar hebben geen auto afgegeven!!
