De klacht

I've called ns.nl to stop my 50 € Dal Voordale subscription around 3rd of February 2015. Employee of ns.nl said that I will receive a letter with instructions to proceed. However I haven't received any instructions and on 11th of February my subscription continued. I received instructions only on 3rd of March (one month later).

Since I didn't pay 50 €, Nederlandse Spoorwegen gave my personal details (address, telephone) to Groenewegen & Partners (debt collecting company) and now they are forcing me to pay 50 € + 40 € incassokosten.

I called ns.nl today (7th of April) and asked them why instructions were sent one month later and why my subscription continued despite the fact that I asked to stop it? They said there was mistake in a system.

My complaint is why do I have to pay 90 € for the Nederlandse Spoorwegen mistake?

De oplossing

I will be sattisfied when this 90 € claim will be withdrown from me. I don't want to pay for Nederlandse Spoorwegen mistake.

    You indicate that you do not agree with the collection costs that are charged associated with your Dal Voordeel subscription. As you indicate you have mid-February indicated to terminate the subscription. Because this subscription February 11, 2015 has been extended automatically, you unfortunately not adhered to the month notice period. This is according to the conditions necessary to pay first. After deactivation, you will receive the remaining months. Unfortunately, the collection costs for your own account. Our advice is to pay the abonnemenstkosten including costs.
    It is a pitty that you did not react on our information send on 5/03/2015. We gave you the advise to go to the ticketmachine before 19/03/2015 for ending the contract at the starting date 11/02/2015. Unfortuatly the contract is ended now at 11/05/2015.I trust that you have enough information.NS Klantenservice

    I did not react on your information send on 5/03/2015 in time, because you haven't sent it to me in time. It was sent around one month later after I asked to terminate the contract. Do you recognize this?Contrary, when I asked FOR THE SECOND TIME to terminate my contract on 7th of April 2015, instructions were sent immediately.It is not a fair business, when you are late with termination instructions, nothing happens. And when I'm late with payment, I'm forced to pay penalty .
