Opgelost door POSTNL: Delivery person does not come to the door with package, but marks "not home".

De klacht

Delivery person does not deliver packages on rainy days. instead, they are marked as "not home" without even ringing the bell. 3 times we have stayed home waiting, only to see the status change in Track and Trace without anyone coming to the door.

De oplossing

monitor drivers who excessively mark deliveries as "not home" This will weed out bad drivers, which we get every few years.

    Thank you for your message. From your report I understand that the delivery person does not offer packages when it rains. I can imagine that this is frustrating. I am sorry to hear that our services have not met your expectations. I would like to respond to your message.

    To ensure that this no longer occurs in the future, I will immediately forward your report to the manager of the relevant delivery person. This supervisor will then personally discuss the issue with the delivery person.

The response says they will talk to the manager of the driver. But the driver does not work directly for Post NL, they are contracted. This sounds like a copy / pasted answer. We will see if it improves the next time it rains.
