De klacht

A seller from Etsy sent me a package from Ukraine. All tracked, perfect. The package arrived and went for delivery in Amsterdam only for PostNL to lose it! The tracking said it had been delivered to “a neighbour” which was not true as I checked with everyone close.

I opened an enquiry with postNL and after almost 2 weeks of them sending excuses and saying investigation was under way, I still haven’t got any updates and now they just reject my messages or won’t answer.

Worst company in the world. Beware!

De oplossing

Compensation or have clear info of what happened to the package. postNL should be responsible for it.

    Thank you for your message. I’m sorry to hear that your parcel didn’t arrive and I can imagine that you would like a solution for this situation. I would like to respond.

    According to my information an inquiry has been started on the 8th of February. My colleague responsible for the inquiry has send you an update on the 10th of February and has informed you about the outcome on the 17th of February. I’m very sorry that the outcome of the inquiry was negative, unfortunately there’s nothing else I can do.

    I advise you to contact the sender for a solution. You are the senders client and the sender has an agreement with his or her post organization. He or she can possibly file a complaint with them and can help you out with a solution.

I Have contacted UKRPoshta and they'll open an investigation. It's really a shame I have to contact someone in Ukraine to solve an issue that happened in the Netherlands, literally when the package was out for delivery. What kind of company loses a package at delivery? Incredible. But let's see where it goes and if I can claim a compensation back from them.
