My ticket was cancelled 6 months ago and Schiphol Tickets have still not refunded me. They keep telling me they need a respond from the airline but when I spoke to the airline they told me they refunded Schiphol Tickets.

De oplossing

I would like a full refund for my cancelled return ticket from Australia. I had to buy a new return ticket which cost me more than the original ticket. I feel like Schiphol Tickets are trying to steal my money for their own good.

    Here is the booking ID KVZTM9. I have been trying to get a refund from you since March when the booking was cancelled. I spoke to Qantas and they told me they would gladly refund me themselves, however your ticketing created too much ambiguity.

    The airline has not approved the refund yet.

    As soon as they approve it, you will get your money back in a matter of 2-3 days.

    Dear Schiphol Tickets, you have said this to me at least two other times over the past 6 months.
    I think it’s about time you honoured your customers. How do you expect customers to do business with you in the future after this experience.

    We are very sorry that it is taking too long.

    However, apart from talking to the airline and asking them to speed up the process, there is not much more we can do.

    Please take into accoun that the procedure for all agencies is pretty much the same.

    As soon as the airline approves the refund, it will be a matter of 2-3 days that we make the refund.

    When I spoke to Qantas they told me they were ready to refund me but had to go through you. I am concerned about the amount of time this is taking. I had another ticket via a different agent which was handled with more communication and faster.

    Can you let me know when you expect to hear from the airline.

    We are really sad that the process is taking so much.

    We are putting pressure, as much as we can, on the airlines, in order to try to get refund approved as soon as possible, but unfortunately it is out of our control.

    In any case please be sure that as soon as we get the approval from the airline, we will refund the money in a matter of 2-3 days.

My claim has NOT been handled. For the past 6 months I have been trying to get my money back and I am either ignored or told that my claim is still being handled by the airline and once you hear back from the airline it will take 2 - 3 days. This is ridiculous. The airline told me they would give me my money back. I don’t believe SchipholTickets.
